Podracer (did anyone ever refer to this by its official name?) is now on GoG as of yesterday. The people at GoG have tweaked the game files so you can now run this amazing game on modern PCs and at high resolutions. Now I just need a USB N64 controller to complete the experience...

We always called it ‘Star Wars Racer’ when I was growing up.
Also, LGR reviewed the game recently, probably to correspond with the GOG release.

I bought Racer back in the early 2000s. Didn’t have much interest, but the Pittsburgh airport EB was selling it for 99 cents with purchase of X-Wing Trilogy:
I ended up giving Racer to my brother since it really wasn’t of interest to me.

Is there a way to play it with dual sticks, like the N64 RRDUAL code?

Racer and Rogue Squadron were my childhood. Late 90s - early 2000s was such a good time for Star Wars games.

I haven’t seen a way in my casual poking at the settings menus but I’m sure there has to be some way to do it.

We always called it Podracer back in the day. Seeing the LGR video today is actually how I learned it was on GoG.

Neva Kee for the win.
